The Bitcoin 2025 Conference Ignited a Fire for Ian Freeman — And the Heat is Rising

The Free Ian Now campaign showed up strong at Bitcoin 2025 in Las Vegas—and the response was enthusiastic.

From the moment the doors opened, our supporters were on the move. One of the biggest moments came during the massive JD Vance keynote line. The line stretched for hundreds of yards and was packed four to six people wide. Supporters handed out Free Ian cards to attendees eager to learn more. Security eventually shut us down—but not before we had saturated the crowd and made our message heard loud and clear.

But the momentum didn’t stop there.

Free Ian swag—pens, cards, and bold conversation—circulated across the entire conference. From exhibit halls and networking lounges to luncheons and side events, Ian Freeman’s name was everywhere. Supporters struck up meaningful conversations about financial privacy, government overreach, and what comes next.

One of the most powerful moments of the weekend? Ross Ulbricht—another peaceful crypto advocate—gave his first public speech since receiving a presidential pardon. Ross’s presence reminded everyone of what’s possible when unjust sentences are challenged and overturned. It also highlighted just how many remain behind bars for the same “crimes” of financial dissent.

If the War on Crypto Is Over, Why Is Ian Freeman Still in Prison?

Donald Trump made headlines at the conference by declaring:

“The war on crypto is over.”

It’s a bold proclamation—but it raises a critical question:

If the war is over, why are the prisoners of that war still locked up?

Ian Freeman is one of them.

Targeted for peacefully promoting cryptocurrency and voluntary exchange, Ian now serves a prison sentence for actions that harmed no one. His real “crime”? Challenging the state’s monopoly on money and daring to live outside its lines.

The war may be over, but justice hasn’t caught up.

It’s time to bring the prisoners home.

The Movement Continues

Next up: FreedomFest. Supporters like Aaron Day will be there, continuing to hand out materials, raise awareness, and spread Ian’s story to new audiences. We’re not letting up.
